My stupid and very frustrating problem is that I get ALOT of blackheads within days of extracting
But that is not the worst bit...
The worst bit is that when I 'extract' them, (whether using my fingers wrapped around tissue or a metal extracting tool that I bought very cheap on ebay) all the areas turn into spots! So this routine in my life is very irratating because I don't want blackheads BUT I also don't want spots :( :( My skin is oily by th way...
Ice and cold water immediately helps but I still get the spots

You might need to shrink your pores. It could be you keep getting blackheads so easily because your pores are open and it makes it easy for dirt to get trapped in there. Especially since you have an oily face. Use a toner after you wash your face. Maybe try some good facials too. Something that cleanses and helps with your pores.

I would suggest getting a facial from a professional to start off with clean skin and few blackheads. They will gently extract so as to not cause spots. Then use a BHA to keep them away. Paulas Choice has several great ones.

For blackheads removal, you can use toner. Maxatone is a toner of Solvaderm brand which is clinically proven for removal of blackheads and whiteheads from the skin without losing away the natural moisture from your skin. It won't make your skin dry. Just try it and you would be happy. Hope it may help you.
