I've been trying since I was 18 (almost 5 years) to wear make up. & it just doesn't work. nothing works. it sucks. no foundation matches, everything makes my skin look horrible & any thing I put on my eyes makes me look crazy. only looks okay in pictures & that's honestly a rarity. it's honestly sad. & I've been trying to get my skin to look nice but it just keeps getting worse...

Judging from your pictures you're gorgeous and your makeup looks good. I agree with maybe going somewhere and getting matched. Sometimes it's really difficult to find the right one.
I doubt it's bad like you think. We're our own biggest critics ;)

I think you're just not use to seeing yourself in makeup. I use to feel like the way you're feeling and I finally got use to it. Eventually you'll get use to it too.

Go to any makeup store like ulta, Sephora, Mac, or makeup counters in the mall so you can be matched with a foundation.

I personally don't like foundation and instead opt for Maybelline dream fresh beauty balm over ElF primer. Just enough coverage without being heavy and looking caked on.
