I have never tried it but I work at Ulta and it's not very popular in my opinion. For curly/wavy hair most people use DevaCurl.

I die to try DevaCurl but it's not available in my country :( so I was looking for other options.

NYM isn't on the super expensive side, so you could just go for it and get it from a retailer that allows you to return product.
