Hair Colour Changes?

I've wanted to dye my hair for awhile and I did last year (I did a balayage). Now I want to dye the part where its bleached, a colour. My question is would it work and should I dye it again or leave it how it is? And if I re-dye it, what colour should it be?

My hair is naturally straight and this is in natural lighting.

It will work depending on what color you're wanting it to be, if you're wanting an unnatural color, like pink, blue, etc. It might not take the best to it without additional lightening. But if you're going for something like a dark red or deep purple it might work alright. Since it's the ends of your hair and it's bleached, if you're going to use a permanent dye I would recommend picking up a protein filler from your local Sally Beauty Supply to use on it first to help the color stay better. It's really cheap stuff, only like a couple dollars, but it's a complete game changer.
