I was wanting to dye my hair "sky blue" from ion color brilliance
has anyone used ion before?

Its good & it fades pretty, but do not buy titanium ion, what's supposed to be silver, it turns a gross dull light blue that takes ages to fade. the pink for ion fades fast.

You'll never know how it lasts until you try it for yourself, looking at reviews on direct dye is kinda pointless as nobody will have the exact same hair structure as you do. Your hair is unique in porosity, thickness, moisture levels, and damage levels among other things and how the dye itself is made. A dye that lasts one wash for some may last 6 months on you. Unfortunately direct dyes are all trial and error experimenting :)

If you want personal experience stories, I'd suggest going with another brand if you plan on switching colors. Ion tends to really stain the hair shaft, leaving a permanent tint of the color to your hair. I've tried ion different 4 times and each time I ended up with stained hair. It didn't last for me at all, the main color washed out very quickly and just left a tint within a couple washes. But I know several people who swear by it and can go months without redying their hair. It's really just experimenting to find the perfect color for you.

That is true. I just want to dye my hair one last time before I stop for 2 years cx I will have to experiment with it and hope for the best, thank you (:

No problem! I think any color would do. Especially since you can always redye if you want it longer or just let it fade out after one application. :)
