A good eyeshadow primer?

So lately I have been using the Lorac eyeshadow primer and it doesn't work very well because at the end of the day my eyeshadow doesn't look as I left it. I need a really good eyeshadow primer that can last up to 8hrs if there is or more. Some good that's not urban decay?

I use Mac paint pot in soft ochre and it works very well for me. I have oily lids too.

I actually really like the SmashBox photo ready primer. It's a face primer but it allows you to blend easily.

Too faced shadow insurance and too faced Candlelight. I'm also pretty impressed with Benefit Stay don't stray eye shadow/concealer primer multi product.:)

I went through the same thing! Seemed like I tried every eyeshadow primer there was. I finally found the Smashbox eyeshadow primer, I absolutely love it. I can easily get 10 hours wear with it,and I have pretty oily lids.

I second Too Faced Shados Insurance :) in my opinion it does a better job than UD or Benefit.

I use Too Faced every day that I don't wear false lashes. When I wear falsies I use Urban Decay because it's stickier and I feel like it helps keep my lashes on better. In my opinion the Lorac one is a little greasy. I like it because my lods aren't naturally oily, but it's not my favorite. Smashbox 24 hour eye shadow primer is really good for people with oilier lids or for when wearing a foiled shadow or one that naturally has a good amount of fall out

I don't have a specific eyeshadow primer but I just use my concealer and dab it on my eyelid & blend!

I have been on this same search for the last year and found 2 that work well Becca and NYX. I have hooded lids and always end up with transfer from my bottom lid on my top lid. If I'm I am doing a monochromatic look, Becca rocks, for more elaborate looks NYX keeps everything locked in place.

I recommend the Mac paint pots. I've been using it for years and I've never had a reason to try anything else. They just work great. :)
