Hi Mickalah! Could you advise what colours make hazel and brown eyes look sexy?

Shyla M.
Hello Mickalah, I have dark brown almost black eyes and I don't have any color other than gold that I have liked on my eyes, any suggestions?

Yanna..... Alrighty girl... When it comes to hazel you want to bring out as much green as possible.. So plums... Purples... Burgundy... Anything with a red base... If your more neutral go to a rich brown with red undertones... Or golds..
Browns can wear almost anything.. Same with plum and golds... Stick with colors a lot lighter than the brown eyes... And the golds will burst the multi dimensional flecks

Shyla: alrighty!!! Gold is a wonderful way to start... But I would love to see you go for some color! Try a teal!!! Hijacked by Urban Decay is amazing!!! But If you want an every day color... Go for a rust... It would really accent your eyes...

Okay, I might just be bold tomorrow seeing as its my 16th birthday and try a teal! Thank you.

How did you become a makeup artist? Did you take courses or just freelance? It's what I want to do.

I was disappointed in the brow bar at ulta :( i am NOT saying the whole thing is bad by any means, just the girl who did me. she was either running way behind or didn't know how long it would take her? she told me she had appts every 20 mins but she was 20 mins late for me and then took way longer than that to do me. around 40 mins. and now there's a weird gap in my arch that wasn't there before. they take more work now to look smooth and neat. I was bummed because i was really hoping to get a nice shaping that i could just keep up with. usually i do my own brows but i wanted to treat myself and see what an "expert" could do.

Alyse, I'm worried about something like that, I'm worried they will make some mistake- which everyone keeps telling me they won't but still... I am just lucky like that

I work at ulta too. It depends where you go. Every eyebrow arch expert is different. Some people have different styles for eyebrows too, as in the way they shape them. Just do a good consultation with the expert before you let them wax you

Hi mickalah! I absolutely love makeup and I love playing up my lips. I like wearing plum and darker lips this winter and I am curious as to a great spring / summer version. Also I see all of the time of makeup artist using black or brown or any darker colour to line the lower lashes. I am nervous that if I do that I will look crazy (I'm in high school). Thanks so much:)

The brow bar is an amazing place. I'm sorry for anyone who has had a bad experience... An I would do the Ulta survey an let them know how you felt about your service .. The particular expert does make a huge difference! I do apologize! If you ever come to SC come see me:)

Nicole: alrighty... Me.. Well in particular.. I measure the brows to your bone structure and map them out.. To YOUR perfect shape... Not this one size fits all crap! And we remove the in wanted hair.... Trim and style... It is a $20 service but well worth it!

I need tips on good colors and products that will complete my hair and eye color. I am blonde and blue eyed. Thanks :)

Kaysey: I am an licensed nail tech and esthetician.. With esthetics you can either go medical or beauty.. I went beauty.. You need some kind of license to back up the fact that your a makeup artist... Esthetics is challenging but you'll be way ahead in the game

Abba: hey girl springy bright colors are fixing to be way back in! If your nervous about the black or brown line... Go with plum! It's amazing at bringing out color... And from the pallets I've seen.. Poppy bubbly pinks will be in.. Greens... An rich browns

Eve: for your eyes and going by your coloring... The Naked 2 pallet from urban decay has been one of my favs to do on blonde / blue combo!!! And beachy salty waves are coming back in

Lauren: where are you having your brows waxed?
If at Ulta then tell them not to use the oil that removes the excess wax and go from there... If any other place... They are most likely using a honey wax.. Bc it is laced with oil it makes many people break out.. You could also try putting a Layer of powder to protect the skin
