So I've been reading about natural ways to lighten hair, so I dont get all the damage from bleach. I heard that cinnamon and/or honey works to lighten out one to two shades. My question is if I do naturally lighten my hair with cinnamon and honey will I be able to use chemicals like bleach and hair color afterwards. I'm asking this because there are things (like sun in, metallic dyes, and henna) that I know you cannot put chemicals over the top of, and then you have to wait for it all to grow out.
Also, if anybody has done this, does it work and how well does it work?
Thank you (:
