I've been using cheek stain everyday for more than a year, and what bothers me even if I cleanse my face every night with shu uemura's cleansing oil, I can't seem to remove it. It's like there's a semi permanent stain on my cheeks. :( how do I get rid of it? Thanks. ;(

oh my. were you using the same brand over and over?. stay away from it and try using lemon juice on your face and letting it sit there hopefully it will take off some pigment. what brand is this? you should call them and tell them whats happening. are you sure it is not a rash.

Hi Dutch Olive S. I'm using Benefit's posietint. Thank you for the tip, it doesn't seem like a rash because my cheeks have no bumps, when I wash my face at night, the next day I'll still wake up with a little cheek stain. And yup, I've been using the same brand. :(

i researched this product for a while and no one seems to have a similar problem. so im thinking maybye if you were wearing a foundation or a powder under it caused a bad combination. or you just bought a bad batch and something went wrong when they made that one. i think you should really keep on exfoliating for a couple of more day along with rubbing some lemon on the area twice a day and rinse off after a while. if that doesnt work somethings really wrong and if it is the product it must have bleached your skin. i think i will come off soon. just keep me updated. now we know it is the brand you need to call there service number and ask questions. and you can have an alergic reaction without any bumps or symtoms speak to your doctor just incase.

Yeah, maybe it's also the make up bad combo. I'm using Bobbi brown's bb cream with it. Been using it for a year now. I just find it weird to wake up with little make up on. Lol! Or maybe it's a bad batch? You could also prolly be right on that one too. I'll have to try the lemon juice and will try to exfoliate my cheeks, hope it works. Really appreciate for your time to help me out on this one. Thanks Hun! Xoxo ;)

Do a DIY microdermabrasion style scrub making a paste with water and baking soda. Pat on to your face and massage in circular motions - dont scrub because it will irritate to be so harsh! Wash it off and then try slathering with a whitening moisturiser - something like fade out or an asian BB cream x

Why would you keep using it for a year then? That makes absolutely no sense.

Have you ever tried the makeup removal products out there specifically made for removing lip-stain style lipsticks? That stuff is amazing, I think any drugstore would have it - and a lip stain is virtually the same premise as a cheek stain product. Using products in the proper way is key, but then follow that application with the proper cleaning and make-up removal products will keep you straight. Cream washes will never fully remove 'stain' product. I bet the lemon juice will help too!
