Is the chain/straps on the dress gold or silver?

^ true. If the dress has gold in it, do NOT wear silver heels. But if the chain is silver, wear silver heels. If it's gold, you should go with black with gold accents.

Is the dress tight or floaty?
^^ Do NOT wear silver if the chain is gold- if it is go nude heels and if not silver heels. Because you said it goes down to the floor and you think it will be hard to walk in heels wear pumps with the same colour code. Hope that helped:)

You can always match shoes to lipstick I love doing a bright red pair of heels with my black dresses and red lips especially a matte lip cause it'll last a long time
