I can't seem to find a good foundation that will work for me. I have tried quite a bit, but I am still on the hunt. I have combo skin, I get pretty dry around my nose, and forehead.
I have tried Tarte Amazonian Clay, Loreal True Match, Revlon Nearly Naked, Kat Von D Tattoo Foundation and Revlon Colorstay. But all of those seem to stick to my dry patches and fine lines. I do exfoilate and moisturize.
I don't mind paying a little extra if it's at Sephora or Ulta but I need some suggestions.
Please help!

I have the same problem. So far, the best foundation For not clinging is MAC mineralize :)

I use bare minerals pressed powder and mineral veil. But before, I use the prime time foundation primer and it adds really good texture and moisture to your skin. It lasts me all day, even after I do PE. The only downside is it comes off really easy if you rub it, so try to refrain from touching your face. :)

Use a oily foundation for your skin, I know that YSL always have very oily cosmetica and you always can use a compact powder on it.

Its easy to Putt them on and if you don't like iT, essence has made a box with oil-Free papers so then your skin doesn't look too oily and there is also a Matt correctionstick by essence so you can make the too shiny places a little bith matter.

I would look up this video from Gossmakeupartist. He would mix a drop of facial oil with foundation and for me, that had helped me still use my more matte foundations in the winter (same situation as you girl. Combo but weather is killing it) and it helps glide on. I'd also recommend maybe a drop or 2 of the oil itself patted onto the drier areas to help make them softer before you apply foundation. HTH!

I have combo skin, and dry around my nose AND the forehead area. I used to use the Smashbox 15 hour foundation, and it matched my skin needs perfectly. But it was a bit tacky to my liking. But that is just my opinion because I am a powder person who is just used to nothing liquids. BUT Then, I tried MUFE hd... Omg. Even better. And FEELS even. Better. Like I'm not even wearing anything. Try it! If you're unsure ask for a sample before you buy! I also use a hydrating primer around my dry areas and a matte one esp on my chin and other oily areas, So primers really do help your foundation. But girl foreals, make up forever hd.

I agree with Courtney!
Sometimes I'm combo but oily on my t zone and on my free VIB makeover recently my artist used Nars All day Luminous and it was beautiful! So light, glowing and youthful. And definitely full coverage ^.^
Def going to purchase after I finish my Lancome 24h Idole Teint foundation.

My skin gets very dry and flaky at times during the winter and I like to use the It Cosmetics CC Cream. I love it because it is definitely an all in one foundation. It hydrates, moisturizes, corrects, evens, and has anti aging properties. It contains SPF 50 and is very pigmented so it has great coverage and a little bit goes a very long way. It will take you a while to use the whole tube. it gives a beautiful hydrating finish as well. I think you'll really like it :-)
