I suck at it, and get glue everywhere. And then the ends won't stay down and its just a mess.

Consider cutting the eyelash in half (:
Doing the same thing but using tweezers or anything you find helpful to place them on the lash line

Make sure you wait about 30seconds before you apply them so the glue can get tacky. Then just practice until you find a way you like to apply them.
Also trimming them may help

I had this problem when I first started wearing falsies!
You need to trim them to make sure they fit your eye, and then you apply the glue and you have to let it dry a little so it goes like sticky and it'll stick to your eyelid a whole lot better, I apply them with tweezers, and I put the middle on first then do the outer end and then the inner!
I hope I make sense haha :)

Here's my tips -
Let the glue dry on the lashes for about 30 seconds. Once the glue is tacky/sticky it will stick to the lids right away. also make sure you aren't applying the falsies to your actual lashes.

using tweezers helps a TON when it comes to applying falsies. Use them to hold down in the corner of the eyes and to move the falsies around since your fingers are too bulky and big to get where tweezers can.

Before applying lashes always remember to fit them onto your eyes, if they are too long TRIM THE EDGES! if they are too long they will lift off the corners of your eyes which will make them eventually come off.

when applying falsies don't apply them where your inner corner is, apply them where your actually lashes start! many people make mistakes of applying falsies to the inner corner of your eye. it will get very irritating if you don't put them where your lashes start.

no problem (:

The right glue is key! Sometimes using the wrong glue can cause the lashes to peel up on the sides and they also smell. I recommend using House of Lashes brand of lashes and investing in their glue as well. It's a nice slim bottle (good for traveling too, and it works really well when you need the lash to obviously stick to your eye). Apply a thin layer and don't put it on your eye right away. Blow on it and make it dry slightly, it needs to get sticky and tacky. When I first started applying lashes, I used a bobby pin to help hold the lashes down on my eye. If you mess up, pick the lash up and replace it, I like to place the lash down in the middle and if its not in a good place, pick it up and move it over whichever way it needs to be moved over. In my last youtube video you can see how I apply the lashes to my right eye, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3XQN0aY_no and if you just want to see my little talk before I apply the lashes, go to minute 4:30 (you see me blow on them and curve them to fit to my eye better) and if you just want to see how I put on the lashes skip to 5:40. Hope this helps you! Good luck, it takes practice! :)

If I absolutely can't get it right using any of the tips people said above then I lay on my bed on my back with my head off the side and a compact mirror... For whatever reason doing this gives me perfect lashes everytime
