Please let me know if you've tried this :) also any recommendations on foundation for oily skin? (Preferably high end)

It's a luxurious primer! It feels like silk on the skin and it definitely lived up to the Miami humidity. Any primer or foundation that uses Cyclopentasiloxane is usually a major win for oily skin types... that's one ingredient to look out for!

And if you plan on using the primer on just for yourself, I recommend purchasing the travel size ($18.00). I used mine for a good 6 months until I ran out. You only need a little bit with this primer ☺

Savannah, for foundations I would try Estee Lauder Double Wear or Makeup Forever Mat Velvet...
@Kitty, is that a good primer for drier skin types as well?

@Lisa Estée Lauder Double Wear was a wee bit too heavy in my taste. How is the MUFE Matte Velvet? Is it heavy? Have either of you tried the new NARS foundation?

I have dry skin personally so I don't know how it would work for you. I just know a lot of people recommend it for oily skin types. Since you are looking for something a bit lighter Urban Decay Naked might be good choice (I personally didn't like because it was too drying for me, but you might like it since your more oily). As for Nars Sheer Matte might also work for you (the only reason I didn't like Sheer Glow was because it broke me out, but it looked really good on my skin 😔). No matter what though, try samples first! Thats what I always do because you don't know how it will work for you...

Oh and the new Nars might be good too! It has pretty good reviews for oily skin types. I would check out makeupalley for more reviews as well

@Lisa My skin is dry and it looked gorgeous with the mineral veil, I had no issues with it.

Thank yall! I think I'll go with the NARS ADLW. Have any of you tried the new bare minerals foundation? I tried some today and I don't know how I feel about it because I didn't get a full application, just the side of my cheek. My oily place is my nose

Yes I have tried the new Bare Minerals, I like it but its not something that I just love. Its pretty light coverage but I'll probably just stick with what I'm using now because it didn't wow me. I just found it to be to a little too dry for my skin type, but again it might work better for you since we have different skin types... I've heard that whatever brush you use can make a difference on how this foundation works so I don't know.

I have used both the Mineral Veil and my current and new HG foundation is the NARS all day luminous wear foundation. I am super oily, and it wears great. I will say if you're suffering with makeup staying in place, to reconsider your skincare routine. I recently started using a beauty oil (Boscia tsubaki beauty oil) mixed both my daily moisturizer and with my nightcream. I have noticed a DRASTIC change in the way my makeup wears since I have been using it! My makeup doesn't slide off my face.

@ Sarah B That's weird that an oil would help your skin, every time I've used an oil I just break out! How strange! And I want to get the NARS ADLW, what primer do you use underneath it?
