I've brought a few of the revlon colour burst matte balms that I heard so many good reviews about. I have a slight problem though... I feel like when I put it on, it makes my lips almost look like there cracked even when they are not dry. How do I get rid of this? Is there a better way of applying it to stop the cracked lips look?

Seems like since its a balm it wouldn't do that. Try chapstick first, condition your lips a bit and then apply the balm a few minutes after you put the chapstick on.

I found the same thing when I used them. I do what Shanae said - I apply my chapstick a few minutes before I put on the lipstick. Then just before I apply the lipstick I dab any excess chapstick off so my lipstick doesn't go on as slick and stay matte. I haven't tried it myself but I've seen Alma recommend a lip sealant, Sealed With A Kiss (I think that's the right name) that is supposed to help get rid of that cracked lip look :)

What Shanae said. They are slightly drying but the Chapstick should stop that. But these are seriously my favorite lip products because I don't have to reapply them after lunch. Also, if you got the color "Shameless" that tends to be the chalky one of the bunch.

I've had the same problem. I just use a lipliner all other my lips first and then put them on over it. I have twney lip liner with Revlon sultry color Burt lip balm here :) hope that helps!
