I have my mom color my hair because she used to be a stylist, but she is scared to go any lighter on my hair. She is already using a 13V Blonde with 30 developer... Please Help!

Dont bleach, your hair is gorgeous! I bleached my hair and it looked like straw. I have to go back dark in order for it to start looking healthy again.

You might just have to tone it, do a strand test with wella's white lady toner. Use a 20 vol developer and follow the instructions religiously. But first strand test because you want to see how your hair will take on it and if you're not happy with it you can correct it easily :)

Toning the hair with the typical purple toner will make it look darker, albeit temporarily. To get the color in the pic, the secret is a sort of a toner/gloss treatment left on the hair for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. The treatment you need will lighten it just a bit more and gloss it up so it looks even brighter. I have had it at two salons, Fred Segal Santa Monica and Vidal Sassoon in South Coast Plaza in my home Orange County. I have never asked my colorist about the brand but I will ask some more detailed questions when I go again.

Before you color next time, I would do two treatments on the hair, a protein shot and another to increase the hair's porosity. Moisture comes afterward.

I have had a lot of people recommend toners as well, but that won't make it any lighter, it will only take out the gold tone. I work in a salon supply store and my boss also suggested a gloss treatment and a filler treatment for the porosity of my hair. I will definitely see if she can get me these products. I might just have to start going to a salon to achieve the hair I want, I don't think my mom wants to do any more! Thank you guys for your help, it is very much appreciated! <3
