How do I make my hair have an ombre effect?

If your hair is naturally a dark brown, just buy the reckon highlighting kit for brown, then do it just about up to your chin, use a toothbrush to spread at the top area so it blends, then wash it out and dry it then use the rest of the kit a few inches up from the ends. Use the toothbrush again too blend it and the ends will be more blonde! :) hope this helps
