I've never really highlighted lol, and I feel like the way I applied it is too much in the center. It looks off. Maybe I'm just not used to it, I don't know...buuuuut how should I apply it?
PS, I know I applied a bit too much.

Well mostly all the you tube make up tutorials I see, the girl/guy applief it in thr cheek bone and not up to the hairline but I think its all about personal preference(:

Really?! I always see them apply it like a blush, which I guess would make sense since it highlights the whole cheekbone, but I dunno. I guess it would be personal preference, I just don't have one considering I've never done it before :p lol.

Yeah, of course. On my face I'm wearing;
Maybelline fit me matte (128) + Rimmel wake me up concealer
MAC mineralized blush in "petal power)
MAC soft & gentle of course haha
UD Setting spray
On my eyes, just Loreal voluminous million lashes mascara
And on my lips, it's MAC "Show Orchid" & MAC sheen supreme in "Royal Azalea" on top

I PERSONALLY apply it from right above the cheekbones, in an upwards diagonal all the way to my hair line or at least pretty close! But that's because my face is really round so I try and counteract that

Hmm I guess it would matter on the face shape, eh? I don't even know mine haha!

I think it looks great! I tend to like a strong highlight. I apply it to my cheekbones, since that's the highest point of my face :)

Just try out different shapes and angles to see what you like best! It's not necessarily just face shape it's also the effect you would like to give (two people with the same face shape could want opposite effects such as rounder cheeks and another wanting high cheekbones )

I apply my highlighter right up to my hairline and up my temples slightly, especially when using a powder highlighter :) I use Benefit High Beam and/or Laura Gellers baked highlighter in Toasted Coconut. I generally tend to use both as I like to set the High Beam with a powder highlighter, plus it means that I don't have to use so much of my High Beam :)

I usually highlight where light reflects off the skin, put a lamp next to you and you'll notice where the light hits on the face. Slightly looking forward you'll notice it hits above cheek bone slightly under outer corner of the eye towards end of brow point and also reflects from brow bone as well like a C or V shape. The amount of illuminating finish or highlight is really your choosing just remember to diminish any hard lines it should be a defused finish :)

Giiirl are you crazy lol you didn't apply too much, I barely noticed it honestly.
looks subtle (:
when I apply it, it's so intense haha.
I love intense highlights.
it does go great with your skintone!
I have soft and gentle as well and I apply it on my cheekbones, above the arch of my eyebrow, top of my nose and Cupid's bow
I like to spray fix + on my brush before I apply it to my face.
