Guys, I an really desperate for help! My prom is on June 4th and I don't have the clothes for the occasion. It's actually a Junior Prom, meaning is a ninth grade prom. So, I didn't wantes to wear dress because every single dress is like without sleeves and too revealing and I just don't like prom dresses. I actually had one in mind but it's so different that it was too hard to find. Finally, I came up with the idea of something that would be the same as the dress. I want a crop top with long sleeves and a high low skirt with combat boots. In my mind that is beautiful but... in real life looks weird which is a bummer. I really want your ideas of what I could change on the picture below. I'm sure the combat boots need to be change or the skirt, maybe. But the shirt... I love it. I want that shirt. I need ideas for skirts that aren't too short or uncomfortable. I'll be jumping and dancing so I don't want a skirt that is "glued" to my skin. And of course, I want shoes ideas. Please, this is sooo urgent. I'm going shopping later to see if I can finally find something... I'm going to say that my body is like and hourglass (not bragging) but maybe that has to do a lot with what type of skirt I can wear, I don't know. Thanks to whoever helps me with this. I will owe you big.

This is what I have in mind. I love it. But the skirt is hard to find... And I don't know if it's suitable for a Prom that most girls will wear a dress.

I really like the idea, it's so different and just a bit more creative, but I would not put on combat boots with that. I really like the idea of elegant sandals or just beautiful back heels with it... anyways, try zara or urban outfitters for a top like this. for the skirt, I suggest h&m. I wore a onesie on my prom, and it was just great because it really made me stand out out from the crowd :)

I think the shoes should be changed, I mean it looks nice but I would try to make it a tad fancier. If you still want to go with ankle boots, I'd suggest something like this?

I love your idea! I think I would go with a edgy sandals because it's tiring to dance with boots.
