Does the doo for mega thick growth oil actually strengthen and promote hair growth?

Paired up with scalp massage I saw a slight increase but nothing substantial. As far as thickness...saw no change in that department. My only complaint with this stuff is that it spoils pretty quickly so once you open it the clock is ticking.
