I have tried both foundations (tarte 12 hour and Nars all day) and after a 2 month trial, returned both. I found the tarte foundation too dry and unnatural. It looked like a mask on me. The Nars foundation was better, but I found it oxidized on me, so I had to be very careful in applying it. It was also difficult to build up for more coverage. My current love is MUFE HD foundation. It lasts as long as the Nars one, looks more natural on me, way easier to work with

This foundations is my holy grail, it's theory foundation ice ever tried that I can literally pat my face with a white cloth and not have any transfer, it applies really well with fingers and a sponge I prefer that to a brush.
