I was so set on asking to try the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Full Coverage Foundation when I go get my makeup done at Sephora on Monday but the more I look at the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation the more interested I am in trying that out.

Does anyone use the NARS foundation? How do you like it? Pros and cons?

For reference, I'm looking for a medium to full coverage foundation that's lightweight with a matte or natural looking finish.

I personally have never tried it, but I have never heard anything bad about it! a lot of beauty gurus talk about it, & I think it was Les who said it was good in one of my threads. it could have been someone else, but either way, they said it was really good! but the ud naked skin weightless foundation is good too!

Yup, anytime! can you do a review on it if you do end up purchasing it?

I find it takes a lot of work for it to work for me. I find it settles into smile lines and other fine lines on my face (I'm only 22, I didn't realise I had many :P) and can look patchy as the day goes on. Unless I prep my skin and take a long time over application then I get those issues.

Personally for a lightweight demi matte type finish I prefer the UD naked foundation.

I just got the NARS foundation and whirl lipstick actually haha.
I'm in love with all day luminous.
I can't feel anything on my face when I'm wearing it, it's full coverage and has a natural finish that I love.

Oh and it literally blurs all my imperfections (pores, fine lines, etc.) you can't notice them at all and that's the main thing I look for in a foundation.
It's definitely becoming my HG.

Has anyone found this foundation to cooperate with dry skin? My tarte Amazonian clay does great but it's so heavy!

Abby - I just got a sample of it, I haven't used it but just putting it on in store to find my shade, it felt so good on my skin. I have super dry skin and it didn't cling to any patches.

I also used to use tarte, but If you have any dry patches it's not the best.

I have normal to oily skin, for reference. I forgot to mention that in my original post.

I was watching some reviews on it, and most of them say that if you have dry skin/patches, then you have to first treat them with a good exfoliating scrub & a moisturizer

I've had it for a few months now and honestly it's one of those foundations you'll have to try out for yourself. A tiny bit goes a long way and will cover but be wise when using it because it can go wrong quickly when overloaded. It's not my complete go to foundation but it's not bad I much rather use Nars sheer matte when wanting a light finish and for full coverage I still go towards Estee lauder Max Coverage. Just give it a try you might like it. :)

First get sample because some people might like it but then again is possible that you won't
I honestly hate it is too hard to blend it drys to fast you have to work really fast with it

Indira, as I said in my original post, I'm getting my makeup done at Sephora so I'll ask about that foundation so I'll get my first impression of it then but thank you (:
