the beauty community is such a supportive community, and I am very thankful for being apart if a world were we are accepted for our differences. however, I am so sick and tired of girls younger than me and older than me being influenced by the 'ideal beauty'. I am not necessarily saying I have seen this on here because I haven't, but since I admire the honesty and truth fullness here on this app, I wanted to ask your opinion on what you think beautiful is. as a sign of acceptance of our uniqueness, I am asking you all to write on a piece of paper on word describing your beauty and what makes you beautiful, then taking a picture with you holding it. you definitely do not have to do this, but once again it shows how we as individuals need to be more open minded and accepting of everyone's uniqueness, weather it be a physical flaw or emotional flaw. thank you if you participate in my little 'Day of Acceptance'. have a great day, a wonderful week, and a happy life:)

It's being confident and comfortable in your own skin. If it means putting on some makeup then do so. I think you should show off the beauty that God gave you.

I can absolutely say I've seen that "ideal beauty" on here. When people ask for opinions on looks or techniques anything apart from the norm is shut down immediately and that sucks. I think what the beauty community is and what the beauty community SHOULD BE are two very different ideals unfortunately. I personally agree that beauty means being and accepting yourself, because what is more beautiful than seeing someone love themselves and be creative and express themselves through something as fun and flexible as makeup or hair! I definitely wish it was a bit more accepting though, there are no RULES in beauty which is something I think a lot of people have forgotten. There are ideals, there are techniques that work better than other, and of course safety rules but other than that the Beauty world should be crazy and open minded and INDIVIDUAL

Beauty means feeling one inside. You know if you get a compliment even if your hair is a mess and you have no make up on? Your self esteem is about to explode which means its not really about the looks, its about how you feel in your heart. There are times when I put too much make up on and also days when I put no make up at all. Make up should be someone you put for your own pleasure, not because someone told you "oh its not that you look that good without make up". I like almost everything. There are times when I see natural girls and It feels like fresh air for my lungs , like I missed that details and it makes me feel good. I also like girls with make up on , gothic make up etc, which means everything is beautiful in the eye of the beholder, so girls be proud of yourselves, your beautiful faces!!❤️
