I've heard good things about olaplex, that is barely damages your hair and so, but I haven't heard about the other ones

I use Olaplex on clients all the time. it really does work wonders. it keeps your hair in the exact same state it was before that color process. it doesn't repair hair though. so if your hair is already too damaged to handle being processed then olaplex won't do anything for you.

I've had an olaplex and it helped save my hair from being fried.

It had helped rebuild my overly tortured and bleached hair! It's amazing! yay! I'm also a super nerd. It's legit chemistry. My stylist said there's other versions but they don't rebuild hair. It's just a coating.

After the launch of Olaplex, there have been a minimum of 30 other products in recent months claiming to do the same thing. As a company, we do not speak down of others. However, we encourage side by side testing. In addition, most products contain oils, silicones, polymers and proteins, none of which would build or repair bonds in the hair as these ingredients have been available for years. If doing side by sides, we encourage you to do them on swatches and push the limits. Anything oil or silicone based will be washed away after a few shampoos. I'm glad to hear that you have all had very positive experiences with Olaplex!
