If you are going blonde I suggest getting it professionally done though because it is really easy to come out brassy and uneven. For darker complexions I find that adding in some lowlights is the key to pulling it off and the best way to go about that is through a salon of course

Call me crazy *cough cough CRAZY* but I think you could so pull off the 'granny' hair..aka grey hair! even lavender or something pale like that, it would totally complement your eyes:)
