I'm growing out my fringe for summer and it's an absolute nightmare! Make sure you get any split ends trimmed :)

I don't really have any progress pictures but I'm trying to go from barely past my shoulders all the way down to my waist (like Zoella pre-haircut). Currently my hair is to about the middle of my breasts/chest. I'm lucky enough to have hair that's very resilient to damage and grows pretty quickly.

A couple of years ago my hair was passed my shoulders and now it's down past my ribs it's been he'll trying to grow it I get so bored of not having a style! I still have a way to go to get what I want ( down to hip) but I'd just make sure you regularly trim it and I always use heat protectant ( Aussie miracles) and heat protectant shampoo and conditioner or resurrection shampoo and conditioner :) goodluck be patient

Do you ladies still colour it?

I just got a blue ombre so yes, I still color my hair, lol. As long as you're properly taking care of your hair then dying it won't affect hair growth.

I'm growing out my hair too! It's going to take a while because I buzzed it all off in September! My profile picture shows how long it has grown since, and I have to say I'm very happy! I got a few haircuts in between, they're addictive! But I've been pretty good lately...only problem is that I can't just wear it "down" (it grows "out" and it's very poofy). As soon as I can get it to a decent bob, I'll be happy. My goal is Bettie Page's hair length *_*
And Alexis, your growth is super impressive! How long has it taken you to grow it out since your pixie cut?

Wow that's incredible! Good job, genetics!
And Justine, thank you, you're really nice! Actually I had already done it a few times before. The first time I cut it off was when I went in for a pixie cut (my "usual" haircut) and I wasn't feeling it... My aunt is a hairdresser, I told her it wasn't exactly what I wanted and asked her if I'd look good with it all off... And then she buzzed it!
The last time I did it was because I got a super curly perm but my roots were a completely different texture so I decided to start over!
It's just hair, it grows back! Why are you afraid? :)

I'm think I'm scared because it's such a big change for me, I have NEVER had hair shorter than my chin in my entire life, and I'm 26! I worry that I won't have the time to style it (I have 2 kids) and maintain it... short hair is very new to me! and my hair is super fine and thin too I don't even know if it would suit me
