So I'm not sure if my nails are long enough yet but I really want them to be almond shaped. I'm clueless as to how to do this. Lol
I normally use a metal nail file, am I able to shape with that or do I need to buy some new nail tools?
Also is there a certain way to do it?

What my nail tech does ( when using acrylics) is she cuts the sides, like the edges so they kind of look like stilettos then she curves the nail until it looks almond shaped

Do you think it's the same way with your real nails?

Yep :) or you can just file them for ages Haha

That may take a while! Lol. Is there a trick to making them even on both sides?

You can try making a white thin line in the middle with nail polish for guideline!

I did this shape with my real nails, a couple different times and it made them super weak and they all broke off. I love the look but I love having real nails more. My boss had the same problem so I wouldn't recommend it for real nails!

Izel, that's a good idea, I'll have to try it!
Stacie, thanks for the info! I'll have to keep that in mind. I still really want to do it though and if anything I just won't do it again! Lol.

It actually depends on the nails! my nails get super weak when I shape them other than ovalish almond. :)
