I tried Jergens natural glow self tanner, the one that is supposed to be "firming". For the first two days I loved the results, as it made me very tan and I liked the fact that it is a lotion without color in it. After two days though, I got hives everywhere. Has anyone else had this experience?

If you got hives you need to stop using it as it seems you're allergic to one of the ingredients.
I haven't had this experience myself but anyone can be allergic to anything really.

I have stopped using it haha. And yes I know I'm just wondering if it's an ingredient that is particularly in the Jergens brand because I'd like to try another brand but don't want to waste money.

I have super duper sensitive skin and haven't ever been able to use self tanning products, jergens included. It probably is just an ingredient you're allergic too and I'd try at least one more brand before you write off self tanning products like that. It might also just be an ingredient Included for the "firming"

That's what I was thinking, thank you Kendra!

I know this is off topic as what you are asking, but how did you apply and how long did it last?

I actually just exfoliated and then applied it like a lotion, and then washed my hands right away. It lasted a few days, I am still a bit tanner than I was and haven't used it in four days. But to keep up with it I think you are supposed to apply it every other day.
