As you can probably tell from the title, I'm having issues with my asian eyelashes. I've tried tons of volume mascaras and lengthening mascaras but none of them work too well on curling and holding the curl. I've been debating buying an eyelash curler. Would that work well on asian eyelashes and what brands would you recommend? (Preferably drug store. I'm on a tight budget currently)

I love using an eyelash curler! They keep my lashes curled and actually make them appear longer (: I also use my covergirl clump crusher for lengthening and my maybelline rocket mascara for volumizing!

I don't wear mascara on my top lashes anymore since I wear falsies everyday but when I did eyelash curlers helped a lot.
I used the sephora brand

Eyelash curlers definitely help, the only one I recommend NOT to get is the Elf one. I'm unsure of which eyelash curler I'm using now, but I'm pretty sure it was around $6.00 from target or something. Not high end at all and it works fine, just make sure you curl your lashes correctly by not clamping down really hard just once. Here's a video to show you how:

Also, use waterproof formulas to keep the curl. Currently, I'm using the waterproof formula for maybelline the falsies volume express and Iove it.

I think the shisedo (I don't know if I spelled that right) eyelash curler is slightly more "flattened" for monolids.

Haha I'm with you girl! I hate my Asian eyelashes. I got an eyelash curler from Sally's Beauty supply by Ardell. It was only $6 and it works great! You just need to be patient, hold it for maybe a minute. I also recommend the Maybelline Rockef Mascara.
