I use the rimmel stay matte primer and the garnier bb cream for oily combo skin and set it with the loreal infallible setting spray.

Hourglass and the MUFE mat velvet - I have oily/combo sensitive acne prone skin and this combo is my favorite and doesn't break me out but keeps me matte even in the sweaty hot mess of summer

I kinda follow a less is more approach when it comes to foundation in the summer. Before a nasty reaction to meds I was loving MAC's new Longwear Waterproof Nourishing foundation. That stuff does not budge thru tears, sweat and high humidity Florida. No need for primer with it. I have oily/combo skin. As far as the best foundation/primer couple...Hourglass Mineral Primer paired with Laura Mercier Flawless Finish Fluide Foundation. I have oily/combo skin and a pesky fine line on forehead.
