My nails are very thin a they flake off to make my nails even thinner how do I stop that?

Rehydrate your nail plates by massaging nails once or twice a day with a cuticle or nail oil that contains jojoba oil and vitamin E.
Give peeling nails a moisturizing assist by using a moisturizer with alpha-hydroxy acids or lactic acids before bedtime.

I agree with Maria make sure to apply some oil to your nails, I would stay away from applying nail polish since it doesn't allow your nails to breath.

Also, try not to do anything that hurts your nails, such as getting them wet or scraping something with them. It doesn't necessarily hurt them but it makes them weaker. I would wear gloves if you ever do something like the dishes where your hands will get wet.
