Depends on what are you looking for. Bb stands for blemish balm while cc stands for color correcting.

Do you have any personal experience with it?

I hv used bb cream before. More like covering some of blemishes that I hv. But cc cream is more like even out your skin toness.

If you hv less blemishes you can go for cc cream. But I woud suggest you to choose foundation instead of bb or cc cream even for evryday use like goin to work. Because normally foundation does hv more coverage than bb or cc cream.

Personally, I use Korean brands bb and cc creams. I've noticed that they're different from American brands. I prefer the Korean ones.
Missha and Lioele are two of the brands I use. There are other brands like holika holika, etude house, nature Republic (and more).
The missha bb and cc creams I tried are very good. They stay on for hours (I've got combination to oily skin) and I didn't see any issues with them.
Lioele dollyish cc cream is really good. Gives both a mattifying finish and makes the skin look luminous. Once again, my personal experience is a positive one with Korean cosmetic brands.

I like both for different reasons - if I have a lot of discoloration (from recent acne or something) I go for my cc creams - if my skin looks fine for the most part but I just want some sheer coverage I go for my bb cream - also different brands have different advantages that they advertise and some are more Dewey finish while others can be more matte and some have more coverage than others (I'm talking mainly about non-Korean brands that you would find at sephora) so try to find one that fits your specific skincare needs - my personal favorites are usually sheer-medium coverage with more matte finishes - for high end bb creams I like tarte and Bobbi brown - for high end cc creams I like Clinique and Lorac - for drugstore bb my favorite is the garnier oil free - and I have sensitive oily/combo acne prone skin and none of these have given me problems - also I personally don't like the Korean brands because most of them have skin whitening stuff in them and I don't like that and most of them end up putting a gray hue on my face and I don't like that either.

BB - Blemish Balm
CC - Color Corrector
it really depends on what you need for your skin, if you really just want a light weight foundation I would use a bb
