Okay so I have a friend who is into makeup. So I have been spending a lot of time with her and she has kinda piqued my interest for make up! And I am not exaggerating at all but my make up consists of only mascara. That's the most I've ever put on myself. EVER. I have gotten my make up done by other people but I haven't done make up for myself. And I was just wondering if someone could help me out! I wanna know the basics like what to first buy and how to apply it!! So help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How old is she? What's her skin type? Is her skin clear or have acne? We need to know a little more about her features and skin type before we can really help decide what makeup we think she may need.

I'm also a beginner when it comes to makeup but I've learned when starting out to not use strange colors and extreme amounts..as a beginner I suggest neutrals and small amounts such as foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and maybe some eyeliner. I hope this helped a little but I'm not going to attempt to explain how to pit it on :)

Oh. My bad! Guess I didn't read it throughly enough! Thank you girls for correcting me (:
To answer your question, I think your skin looks pretty goo so I wouldn't bother wearing the extra product on your face! Maybe work on a natural eyeshadow look. I like to add a little bit of color like pinks and oranges (: you could also try a line or even a winged eyeliner if you want! Keep wearing the mascara you're using if you want (: maybe try some moisturizing lipsticks as well! Keep it natural unless you want to go bold! There are many tutorials on YouTube if you don't know how to create a certain look or use certain products

Omg I love lauren curtis! and also casey holmes! but as katelyn said, use more natural colors. I would go for a bb cream, I love the maybelline bb cream, some powder, light eyeliner if you want, and some mascara. and if you want to try eyeshadow, I would just use either a gold one or a tope ( I don't know how you spell it ) one. my all time favorite eyeliner is the sephora felt tip eyeliner, it's $14. as for application, I use a flat foundation brush for my face. you could also use a stippling brush, but make sure you blend that in using circles. have fun!

First off, YouTube is awesome like all the other girls are saying. You can look up beginner makeup tutorials! Also start off with drugstore or Walmart makeup first, then work your way into higher end products, that way you can really mess around and feel free to make mistakes with the cheaper products lol.
