Just take out the pins, then start running your fingers through them. It depends on the look you're going for, most people go for a 50's look after they pin curl it, so they just keep brushing it and smoothing it until it looks how you want it too. But when you first take it out, it'll be very Shirley templeish super curly, I say just keep running your finger through it until you get the look you desire! :)
