I keep trying to do a marble design when you put nail polish in water and dip your finger in, but the pant won't flow in the water properly. How do I make it work?

Check this youtube link, I hardly put on nail polish but I've done water marbling before and some nail polish didn't work while others from a different brand did

I've heard that the water matters. Try making sure the water is room temperature, and if it still doesn't work, you could try using bottled water instead of tap water (if that's what you used).

Sometimes it takes a little Tim for the nail polish to flow right.

Room temperature water works best. Also thinner polishes work best because they spread easier, but this means you need a base coat of white, which I recommend anyway to make the colors pop. Do not use quick dry polishes, they will dry way before you are able to complete the design.

As for specific suggestions for polishes, these are what have worked for me :)
Sally Hansen complete salon manicure
Zoya polishes have all worked for me
And loreal colour riche polishes :)
I am sure there are others that work, but these are ones I have tried that have actually spread :)

I've had issues with this nail polish technique as well, thanks for posting! I will definitely try with China Glaze or Sally Hansesn, since I lean towards bright colored polishes. Practice makes perfect so don't give up!
