Retin-A actually really helped with my scarring. I have OCD, so when I had acne as a pre-teen (early puberty ugh) I picked at it constantly. Even though I had moderate acne, and it was only at the edges of my face, I had some pretty severe scarring. Retin-A faded them a ton. It's sort of expensive, but it might be covered by insurance. Mine wasn't, but I was able to get a pretty good rebate and a little goes a long way. It's an acne medication so it shouldn't make you break out. My scars were at least 5 years old and it still faded them.

You could always go to the dermatologist, they have all kinds of creams and stuff for acne and scars, and they'll help find the perfect match for you.

Hi Shannie!! I did too had the same problem until one day actually last week decided to make an appointment to a skin clinic to get informed about chemical peels! I picked the one that I believed worked for me and now I'm on the 4th day and even though my skin is in healing process because is soo freaking dry (I'm usually really oily) I can see so much difference wherere my scarring is omg I'm so amazed even though I plan to do at least 2 more treatments! I'm so ready for it and happy I almost cried! Google chemical peels get informed and find a facility in your area to get a consultation! I definitely reccomend it it will change your life, your confidence and your skin!!
