I've looked into it a little bit, but I'd like to hear from someone whose done it personally. I'd really like to do my legs below the knee.
Where did you go? How much did it cost, and how many sessions? Is there any secret to getting promo deals/coupons? Is it painful?
Even if you haven't done it but know helpful info, I'd appreciate it :) thank you in advance

Most importantly, is the outcome overall worth it?

I actually do it myself at home, I use the BellaLite hair removal machine which is one of the best ones on the market, I believe it was about $600. Basically you do a session once a week for 4 weeks, then you start doing sessions every 2 weeks and so on. It probably takes around 4-6 months to see results depending on where you do it on your body. It doesn't hurt, it may get slightly warm on the skin for a few seconds. I really like it and I think it's worth it however most hair removal that use light pulses only work for people with fair skin and darker hair. People that have more tanned skin are at higher risk of discolouration on their skin.

You can do electrolysis which permanently removes the hair but you can only do it for a small area such as upper lip, etc. You can do it on your legs but it will take hours, but you don't have to go back for as many sessions.

I have done it, I did about 5 sessions. And my hair hardly changed and it hurt SO BAD. It was absolutely horrible. I had it in my arm pits and I still have to shave every day. I can't remember the cost, but to give you some hope.. I am looking into getting it on my legs but with a different company. Best of luck to you! :)

Shauna, I'm interested in hearing more about that BellaLite! I understand it'll take a long time to see lasting results, but how long did it take you to get down to one treatment or less per month? And is there payment plans available?
Also, I've been waxing my legs for about 4-5 years now, so although my leg hair is brown, it's pretty fine and like, fuzzy, instead of thick and prickly. Would I see results faster if that's the case, or does it not matter?

No no is terrible. It burns/stings and stinks! Definitely don't waste your cash..

I have used the no-no and it was horrible lol. I don't think it really burns but it's actually hard to use and it smells of burning hair lol.
I love the BellaLite, it's so easy it basically just sends a pulse of light into the hair and can even be used on the bikini area. One thing to be aware of is that you might get patchy results because of course you will never be able to do it perfectly, haha. Your hair will start growing back slower and more fine. Ummm I can't remember how long it takes to go down to 1 session per month, but I know it says it somewhere in the manual, and like I said it's different for each part of your body (underarms, legs, etc.) I do not believe there are payment plans available. I got mine at Costco, you can buy them on Amazon for cheap but I wouldn't trust that. I really recommend googling more information about it.
