Could you recommend me for bleached dry hair? I'm already taking good care of it with oils and serum so its not too bad but I'd still love to invest in a good hair mask:)
thank you in advance!

You can't reverse damage by using oils or hair masks. Yes while those will make your hair some what smooth and soft it will not repair it. The only way to fix it and make your hair healthy again is to cut off the damaged parts.

The Aussie three minute miracle moist is an amazing deep conditioner. I used it every time I washed my hair after I bleached it and it was the only thing that made my hair silky without being oily. I've also found that melted coconut oil worn for at least an hour works as an amazing mask just be sure to thoroughly wash and condition your hair afterwards.

I'd have to disagree with Justine.
My hair is bleached from practically black to platinum and is still shiny and manageable and I don't get breakage.

When you bleach your hair it takes removed proteins a well as the pigment.

What you need is to get a protein treatment to add in protein that was lost.
I LOVE the Aphogee two step treatment from Sally's.
The first step is a very liquid/sticky texture that you apply and blow dry. This is the protein part, it doesn't smell nice.
You rinse that off, apply the second treatment which is a creamy type of mask that's meant to "balance" your hair and add some moisture and leave it in for like 15 minutes and rinse it out

I usually use a more moisturizing treatment for about 5 minutes then I'm done.
You use the Aphogee one every six weeks I believe. The first time you can definitely feel your hair is stronger

Protein treatments will NOT fix damaged hair, yes they can add some softness and proteins back into it but it will not fix it. Nothing can reverse the damage already done. It needs to have the damage cut off. Also coconut oil is a sealant so it's only going to seal in the moisture you already have so if you have none in your hair it will not work, coconut oil is not a fix all. Trust me you'll want to get a hair cut and I know this from personal experience and my mom was a beautician. You can either spend money on a good hair cut or on a bunch of products that don't work and still have damaged hair.

Again, it's not going to repair the damage just make it softer.

@Justine S. thanks but I know I can't repair damaged hair. I just need a mask so it doesn't feel too dry and is more manageable.

I love to use a hot Argan Oil mask once a week on my color treated hair. I swear by ISA Professional's EVAO (Extra Virgin Argan Oil), it's 100% pure oil, USDA organic, fair trade and not tested on animals! I just heat some up in the microwave, apply it from roots to tips and put a shower cap on. Let it sit from 30-45 minutes (I like to read while I wait), and rinse off with cold water. It leaves my hair looking super soft and shiny and makes it SO much easier to manage (which for my super long hair, I am ecstatic about).
