I've seen Jeffery Stars liquid lipstick in weirdo swatched and it seems amazing. I've also heard Kat Von D has a good black lipstick!

Colour Pop's Bull Chic or Lime Crime's Velvetine in Black Velvet is also great but like Taylor mentioned if you don't want to buy from them the Colour Pop one is amazing (and cheaper - $5!!). I've also heard great things about the Melt Cosmetics lipsticks although I've never personally tried them.

Ruby kisses has a nice matte black shade and it's cheap. It's only sold in beauty supply stores though. Not like Sally beauty supply but the beauty supply warehouse. They're usually located in "urban" neighborhoods

Makeup Forever Rouge Artist Intense 50 is a really good satin black, but it's one of the high end options.
