okay, I've struggled with blending HORRIBLY. Whenever I blend, the colors look muddy and they kind of disappear. I included a close up of my eye (without filter/eyeliner/mascara) so its easy to see. as for blending, this is the very best I can do.
what's your favorite blending brush?
how can I stop the colors from looking muddy? does setting the primer with eyeshadow help with blending? do you blend back and forth or in circular motions?

I think you did a good job. practice makes perfect! Definitely use a clean blending brush,my favorites are mac and morphe at the moment, & I do both back and forth in a windshield motion with small circular motions. BTW I love the sienna on you, I love the Maya Mia palette and that color is one of my favorites.

Sarah pretty much covered it! Have a clean brush designated for blending only. Apply your shadows with a separate brush. Everyone has their own routine for blending, but what works for me is this: I apply a primer and let it sit for a minute, and then I apply (usually a cream or nude) eyeshadow all over my lid before applying whatever eyeshadow I want to use for the day. I find that eyeshadows blend easier this way, but I know some people apply straight on top of their primer. I'd just do a little trial and error and see what works best for you!

@Kailey L I never let my primer sit, maybe that will help. Thanks!!

It looks amazing, better than what I do but I think the brush I use doesn't blend that well.

Mac 217 is a good blending brush, also Morphe's M433 and M441 are good blending brushes too.
