If you're only going to be using it on your face, a palette would be wasted as you'd only be using 1 or 2 colours. I recommend Kevyn Aucoins sculpting powder as it is solely made for contouring and sculpting your face. Many 'contour' palettes and products are nothing more than glorified matte bronzers as they are far too warm for a true contour, whereas the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder is cool grey-toned, thus mimicking the shadows or contours on a face.
