Tease , it & you might wanna get some hair extensions so that your hair can look fuller . Unless you also want longer hair you can go for the long hair extensions .. I recommend headkandy hair extensions those are perfect

Teasing it at the roots would make it look like it had volume :)

Think you should think carefully before you tease you hair. In the long run its not good. What you should do it look at the the products you use when washing you hair. Try conditioning first then shampoo. And condition from mid hair to ends. Don't wash your hair everyday. Use a dry shampoo. I also use a sea salt spray on my scalp n blow dry upside down to give it that roughed up look. More volume on the crown you can also crimp ... Yes I said crimp the hair nearest your scalp. But do this underneath and smooth your hair over the top...an amazing trick for instant volume...if you already have thin hair then be careful. You don't want to lose anymore !!

Use a root lifter before blowdrying upside down, its a mousse and it comes with a small nozzle to spray directly at your parted hair

I totally agree with Amrit!! Even though teasing will give instant volume it breaks your hair off! Also extensions can cause horrible damage if used everyday. I'm speaking from personal experience. Using volumizing and thickening shampoos and conditioners help don't layer heavy or too much product on your hair. And dry shampoo helps out a little with volume and should help if used with other techniques. One thing I'm curious about is if you mean thin in texture (each stand is thin) our thin in density (you dont have a lot of hair)? because if your hair texture is course or medium and you just dont have much of it you can tease without worrying much (although teasing everyday will increase chances of breakage for any hair type), but if your hair is thin in texture be very carefull as you don't want it breaking!!

Although teasing works.. Its terrible. It damages the hair a lot wether you notice it or not. But try this, When you blow dry your hair, blowdry it in the opposite direction, and try and flip your hair so you get the back of the head too. Make sure your conditioner isnt too thick, that could be putting the roots down. Sometimes a hair trim, layered, will give you some volume and let the shorter layers of your hair bounce a little.

Sleep in the scrunching cheetah print curlers. They don't use heat and make your hair like WAHBAM in the morning.
