Garnier or Nars

I have gotten samples of the Nars Tinted Moisturizer (I was matched to the shade Cuba), and I really liked it because it helped with my dry skin, a little hormonal acne, and a slightly uneven skintone. The problem is that it's 50 DOLLARS! So I started looking into the Garnier BB cream especially after I saw it on my friend and she looked amazing. I know that we may not have the same skintype, but I really have not heard anything bad about it on BL either. I was just wondering if you guys thought it would work for me, and also, would Garnier have a good match with my skintone? Thanks in advance!

It really depends!

Garnier has 3 shades: Fair/Light, Light/Medium, and Medium/Dark, and they're on the cooler side. Garnier has a typical Garnier scent (there's no other to describe it!) I believe they have 4 different formulas; for Normal/Oily skin, Normal/Dry skin, Anti-aging, and Anti-Acne.

I've tried the Normal/Dry (formally Original formula) and the scent is very strong, but it will disappear. It moisturizes but doesn't last long. The newer one, the Anti-Acne, has no fragrance, has a satin finish and is much long-wearing than the Normal/Dry formula.

Sadly, The Normal/Dry formula broke me out, I believe it was the fragrance. I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin that's normal but sometimes dry.

I have yet to try the NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer :)

Read some reviews, look up the ingredients, the good and the bad of both products!

I mean if you want to try the NARS, go for it! Don't forget you can return cosmetics :)
Same goes for the Garnier! Try it and if you're not quite fond of it, take it back. CVS has an amazing return policy!

(I apologize if you live outside the states, I don't know about return policies elsewhere.)

Hope this helps!
