I'm finally reviewing my recent purchases of a Clarisonic and Tarte Maracuja C Brightener Eye Treatment!

Clarisonic:
So I have oily skin. I used to have pretty normal skin but then I slacked off on my skincare so my skin became oily.

I got the Mia 1 and have been using it morning and night without any irritation.

My skin is completely different now! I did have a few breakouts/purging happen once I started using the Clarisonic but they've been clearing up so quickly. My dark spots are fading beautifully, some of the new breakouts didn't even leave dark spots/discoloration, and it's helped clear out my pores from blackheads. My skin feels so clean, smooth, and soft.

The best part? My skin is back to normal! My skin doesn't seem to be producing as much oil as it used to, it still does produce some oil but it's very little and doesn't happen until much later in the day, so I'm so excited to have normal rather than oily skin.

The Clarisonic is definitely a game changer and has saved my skin.

Tarte Maracuja C Brightener Eye Treatment:
So I don't have very dark circles, I have some darkness but it's not extreme, and occasionally I would have a problem with my under eye concealer creasing.

Since using the eye treatment morning and night my under eye concealer applies so smoothly and I haven't had any problems with creasing. I think the eye treatment gave my under eyes some hydration that I didn't realize my skin needed.

However, my darkness has not diminished. That wasn't really a big deal to me, though, since I don't have very dark circles but if you do this may or may not work for you.

I love my Clarisonic too! I have the Mia 2 and it's awesome. I also experienced some breakouts, or "purging" when I first started using it. But I barely break out anymore. And when I do, it's because I accidentally fall asleep with makeup on. I also have tried the Tarte eye cream. It didn't lighten my under eyes dark circles either, but it made everything a little more refreshed looking

Love my Clarisonic! I've been using it for 3 years now and it has easily been the best investment for my skin. Also, there is not another brush like Clarisonic because it delivers sonic pulses, other brushes out there (like Olay, Clinique, etc) end up actually just damaging your skin...

As Lisa said, the Clarisonic uses sonic pulses while other brushes just vibrate or the bristles themselves actually turn/move, which can scratch the skin and cause damage. The Clarisonic is all around a better investment for the skin (:

Thanks for the review Alexis. I love my clarisonic and been so excited to hear what you thought about the tarte eye treatment. I've been wanting to try it. I know I shouldn't buy any more skincare products at the moment I have way too many but I love trying things out not just for myself but for clients. That's why I love this site, I trust all your opinions and can use that information towards my research lol

I will purcahse! But what is Mia 1 and Mia 2? Are they the names they give brushes in relation to the skin type the brush is best suited for? 0;

Yaira, the Mia 1 is the old style while Mia2 is the second edition. And newest one is Mia3. They serve same purpose. The brush heads names are sensitive, normal, deep pore, acne, delicate and radiance. When I first started it I used the normal one. Then I change it and use the radiance. The effect has a slight difference. I have dry skin but to be honest, I didnt experienced purging at all. I pair it with Purity Made simple from Philosophy.

What a meant about the effects is from using the normal to radiance brush heads. My skin looks more cleaner and brighter. But the overall effect of my skin from using this brush is way bigger than I expected. My skin looks fresh and alive. It used to be dull. But of course you also need to use right moisturizers, eye cream or what not.

Yaira, the Mia 1 and Mia 2 are basically the same models however the Mia 1 only has 1 speed for the brush head while the Mia 2 has 2 speeds. Personally I didn't feel the need to have a model with 2 or more speeds so I went with the Mia 1.

All the Clarisonics (except for the hot pink Mia 1) come with the sensitive brush head (I believe that's the one) and personally I have not felt the need to switch to another brush head so when/if you do get a Clarisonic just try out the brush head it comes with and see how that one works for you before purchasing a different kind of brush head.
