'91 I was a senior in highschool and for me it was Maybelline flavored clear lip gloss that was in a glass tube and had a roller ball applicator. It was so addicting that I would constantly reapply...my lips looked like I stuck 'em in a vat of oil.lol.

Great thread! In the 90's I was a teenager and I loved Jane cosmetics, wet and wild (way before it was cheap and good, it was just cheap then), LA Looks hair gel which I still use, rave hair spray, salon selectives and original Clairol herbal essences shampoo and conditioner, hard candy nail polishes, caboodles (still have and use for makeup and nail polish overflow), hair bows on the metal barrettes, those zigzag plastic headbands that Ivette posted, teen spirit deodorant, maybelline mascaras (which have evolved to way better than I could have imagined), old school bath and body works products with one note- country Apple, flowering herbs, juniper breeze, pear berry, plumeria, etc.

I loved flavored lip balms (I loved pineapple) like lip smackers (tootsie roll flavor!), and I had several bottles of glitter hanging around the house... I guess that's why I hate it now lol! I had a whole suitcase of gel pens! And those choker necklaces, I had them in lots of colors! Oh and butterfly clips.

This thread brings back so many memories!
I see the kids of this generation rocking M.A.C and other high end brands now. My mom wouldn't dare spend more than a dollar if I wanted lipstick -.o
They'll never know what it's like to be tempted to eat your chapstick lol.

Omg this thread is killing me! I still have my caboodles but it houses my step daughters lip smackers collection now. @Tia omg at those lip balm tins and juice bar sprays just all over my messy teenaged room @Bre I would still rock those jelly shoes if they didn't turn yellow after a few years:( @Ivette I still use those around the house and will never learn my lesson when it gets stuck in my hair for an hour @Kelly KISSING KOOLERS!! Those things smelled so gross but I still loved them @Lori they were still selling that kissing potion in the 90s if I'm not mistaken...for sure the late 80s bc I had one! @Allison my mom still buys teen spirit bc she used mine once when I was in HS and she loves it lmao they only sell it at the dollar store now along with Salon Selectives @Michelle I handed mine down to my stepdaughter and she loved them a few years back when they fit her and made her look taller lol.
