Where to get my prom make up done?

I'm thinking of getting my make up done professionally but I have no idea where, I was thinking of maybe MAC or Sephora. Do you guys have any experience in these stores getting your make up done?

I believe at MAC and Sephora you need to buy a certain amount of products (like $50 worth or something) to get your makeup done but I could be wrong.

Sephora or bare minerals. I love the people at bare minerals. That are so sweet. I buys something their to be polite, I would buy lip products that they use on you.

I'd go for Sephora. They have better products overall and their makeup just looks beautiful. Mac sometimes can overdo makeup and make you look like a drag sometimes. I once left there with bright blue eyeshadow and it was horrible.
