Getting makeup done by a professional.

So I'm getting my makeup done for an event, just because honestly I'm lazy, and a perfectionist, and it takes me too long to get my makeup done and I want to have my contouring and foundation look really good , But, my question is, do you think that he will get pissed if I'm really specific about how I want things 😁😁 should I shoot him an email or something? for instance, I wanted to bring my own eyebrow stuff, and lashes, and I like a really matte face, and don't like blush on the apples of my cheeks. I literally could write a list of how I want things 😂😂

My thing is, I hate when people tell me what to do when I'm doing their makeup, but I would rather just tell him ahead of time, then me not like it and have to fix it! Ahhhh I'm stressing, maybe I'll just do it myself.

Lmao 😁 I don't blame you, I mean you should be getting what you want technically. Just give him the run down and like I said take it from there. He had a problem? Okay well he just lost a client. If not, just work with him at your appointment. Talk to him through the process if you see something not going right lmao.

😂😂 thanks @renay! I get so nervous with other people doing my makeup. I'm the type of person, that if I don't like the way my eyeliner turned out, I'll literally restart the eye, and I know artists don't have the time, and aren't like that 😭😂

@renay when I was just getting the hang of my the dipbrow, I would literally do my brows like 4 times before I was okay with the way they looked 😂 I'm still getting the hang of it, you can never be good enough at doing eyebrows. 😂😂😂

Call him first and be totally honest. If he's not confortable with it then do it yourself. I'm sure you'll be better off with him than a mac artist.

Thanks so much! And I didn't mean my comment against Mac artist! They can do wonders!! I just feel the individual I'm working with has way more experience then your average Mac mua! Hopefully he's helpful, I've never met him but he works for my cousin often, and she loves him :)

I would agree that a makeup artist wouldn't like if a client would be telling him how he should his.work but then again in the end he/she will only want the client to be satisfied. So I would suggest emailing him! (:
