I've noticed when I don't have any sort of makeup on and I use flash to take a picture of myself, my upper lip area is dark, more like discolored. Anyone know how to solve this? Also when I apply powder the upper lip area is noticeably dark as well! Is it because I did not apply enough powder? can someone shed some light in this?
Thanks!!

Um I hate to say this but it looks like you have black hair and it could be hair on your upper lip... Maybe even ingrown hairs if you don't exfoliate that are well before removing the hair... Otherwise I'm not really sure what else it could be

Do you shave? I mean all I can think of is it might be the roots of the hairs, try waxing instead.

Threading and waxing have both been linked to both hyperpigmentation and vitiligo (hypopigmentation). It is possible that repeated hair removal has caused the skin there to darken. I suggest visiting your dermatologist for a better idea of what is going on.
