Hey ladies! So I usually have oily skin. Recently my skin has been dry, flakey- the complete opposite! I was just thinking to myself, I'd much rather have my oily skin back than to deal with dry flakey skin! So what is your current skin type? And what skin type would you rather have? (Besides perfect skin!) 😊

I have oily skin but recently my forehead has been dry. I rather have my oily forehead and t zone because trying to keep it moisturized is to much work!

I have combo-oily, acne prone skin and I'd prefer to have dry skin as it's less prone to acne and I could wear glowy foundations then, I hate having to wear matte all the time!

I have oily skin but my daughter has crazy dry skin. I think I'll stay with my oily skin, my kiddo has to moisturize like 3x a day.

I'm dry and I've been through an oily phase. I'd rather be dry forever lol.

I have truly dry skin (not just dehydrated skin) and I would GLADLY take oily skin. Very few products are formulated for real dry skin. The cracking, flaking, burning feeling, redness. It sucks! No moisturizer on earth has been able to fully eliminate these problems, and exfoliating only helps for a few hours. Also the absence of oil doesn't mean that I don't get acne. It means I get cysts, milia, closed comedones, and blackheads. All of those are basically impossible to get rid of!
Oily skin is so much more manageable, you girls have no idea how lucky you are.

I would rather have oily honestly. I have oily and recently startd haven some dry spots. What I find helps with it is applying jojoba oil after I've washed and toned my face.

I have dry skin and it was a disaster at first, but once I took the time to learn about skin care and found perfect products that allow me to go without moisturizing if I wanted to it was a dream. My skins been through hell and back with acne and sensitivity, but I wouldn't change it due to the amount of knowledge I obtained. It's a bittersweet situation for me!

I have super dry skin around and on my nose only lol. It's super frustrating dealing with it sometimes when I'm applying my foundation, My skin used to be oily and I much preferred it lol.

I have dry and very sensitive skin, which can be a huge pain, but once I learned to look after it properly and found some products that work well for me, I would much rather have dry skin! Oily isn't much fun at all.

I know how to treat my extremely dry skin now and it's perfect even without moisturizing. I much prefer that than oilyness. Basically you should always apply serum for dry skin 2x a day and use a light chemical exfoliant like the wipes by kiko to get rid of the dry skin if any. Rubbing motions don't help, on the contrary...

Combo, it switches between combo/dry and combo/oily depending on the weather. Currently I'm balanced now but who knows how long that will last. Current Skin care:
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
Algentist ultimate eye cream
Algentist ultimate serum
Argan oil
