Well it can depend, besides certain illnesses and genetic factors.. by curling your lashes incorrectly, you can accidentally pluck out an eyelash. In which case, can stun the growth so you definitely have to be careful. It actually happened to my mother which is why she is so anti eyelash curler :(

good thing I'm too afraid to use those! so if a lash is pulled from the root there's a chance it won't grow back?

Eyelashes take about 7-8 weeks to grow back. Also, make sure you don't use expired mascara - the bacteria would cause your lashes to fall out, as well.

I didn't know that about eye lash curlers, forget that haha. I'll be tossing mine. Glad I found out, I was using mine like crazy!

Honestly, if you've ever tried to pluck an eyelash (don't ask), you know that unless you have something wrong, they don't just come out willy nilly from their follicles. Unless you're doing mascara -> curling, you probably have nothing to worry about.

It depends on how they are removed. If they are pulled out, root & all, then you might have problems. My friends brother cut his eye lashes off while he was sleeping and they grew back normally (lol)
