Nobody answered my last post, so I'm posting again!
My hair is a brown/black and I want to get it to a crimson red. Would I have to bleach it? (I'm really hoping not)!

Depends what dye you use... Most likely yes you will have to bleach it. Especially if you want to commit to the color for a while.

If you just dye your hair now it either won't show up at all, or it will only show the slightest red tint. However...they do have a few box dyes that are made for dark hair to go lighter. I know garnier nutrisse has a few "black to bright red" dyes so maybe check them out if you don't want to bleach.

Yeah the dark to red hair dyes are amazing. Like garner and Loreal hicolor. I've used both and recommend them.

Which might be true but the damage is very very very minimal..that's why I recommended it. Not because I didn't know that already. There's literally no way to get a bright color without some sort of lightening product lol.
